Ministry of Skills Development and Vocational Training, under the provisions provided in the University of Vocational Technology Act No.31 of 2008, has established University Colleges with the objectives of offering Diploma Level Courses to produce middle level technical personnel and eventually lead them for obtaining degree level qualifications (NVQ 7).
